Lachman Provides NetGift with Global Perspective as New CEO
Research Triangle Park, NC - Following the signing of several new partners, NetGift,
the leading online gift registry provider, has recently appointed Raanan Lachman
CEO to manage its Internet infiltration efforts.
"Raanan Lachman was chosen for his enthusiasm and aggressive attitude toward making
NetGift the industry standard in gift registries," said Fadel.
"I personally feel that Raanan will lead us into new directions at lightning speeds."
Mr. Lachman brings to the position many years of managerial experience in diverse industries.
He began his career serving as an officer and operational fighter co-pilot in the Israeli Air Force (IAF).
Mr. Lachman focused his military career mainly on technological and managerial roles.
He acted as a Division Head in IAF's Research and Development Department headquarters for three years,
directing high volume, sensitive and confidential projects from early concept stages to production and fulfillment stages.
Mr. Lachman also consulted for high tech Israeli industrial companies on cost efficiency processes,
product development, and IT implementation in multi-national projects and achieved exceptional
success refocusing development time and reducing product time to market.
Building on his computer knowledge and entrepreneurial drive,
Mr. Lachman founded the first Israeli wedding portal that became the first B2B2C
enterprise to bring all wedding services, including a gift registry, to one electronic market place.
In addition to his e-commerce experience and familiarity with the gift giving industry,
Mr. Lachman leverages his international experience to shape NetGift's global strategy and make
it the world's leading all-occasion gift registry system.
"With the Internet as its medium, NetGift has access to global highways," said Raanan Lachman.
"I look forward to leading NetGift down these roads as we work to make it the global gift registry
industry standard in gift registries."
Mr. Lachman graduated from the IAF Aviation Academy and holds a B.A in Computer Science from IOU in Tel Aviv.
He also obtained his MBA degree while doing a joint program from Duke University's Fuqua School and the
