NetGift Registry Goes Wireless With Scarab Software

Research Triangle Park, NC - June 20, 2000
NetGift Registry and Scarab Software Corporation today announced a partnership to bring NetGift's private-label gift registry system to new Internet markets. Through this partnership, the two companies will give consumers access to the NetGift system anytime and anywhere through mobile phones, Palm Pilots, and other emerging Internet devices. The first product under this partnership will be a WAP (Wireless Access Protocol) application that allows mobile phone users to access Internet gift registries. Scarab Software will build and host all NetGift's commerce applications developed under the partnership.
